User Data Deletion

This page explains how customers and Meta users can request deletion of personal data held by Sri Lanka Airport Transfers, operated by Recharge Travels & Tours.

1. Data Covered by This Request

A deletion request may cover personal data connected with our airport transfer service, including booking inquiries, quote requests, customer support messages, WhatsApp conversations, email communications, and Meta/Facebook app-related identifiers where applicable.

2. Request Deletion by Email

To request deletion, email airport@rechargetravels.com with the subject line User Data Deletion Request.

Please include enough information for us to identify your record:

  • Your full name.
  • The email address or phone number used for the booking or inquiry.
  • Your booking reference, if available.
  • Whether the request relates to website booking data, WhatsApp messages, Meta/Facebook app access, or all available records.

3. Remove Meta App Access

If you connected with us through a Meta product, you can also remove app access directly from Facebook.

  1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy.
  2. Select Settings, then Apps and websites.
  3. Find the app or business connection related to Sri Lanka Airport Transfers or Recharge Travels.
  4. Select Remove to revoke access.

After removing access, you may still email us using the instructions above so we can locate and delete or anonymize any matching records in our own systems.

4. What We Delete

  • Customer profile details tied to the request, where deletion is legally and operationally possible.
  • Booking inquiry records that are no longer required for service delivery, accounting, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
  • Stored WhatsApp conversation records and message references connected with the request.
  • Meta/Facebook app identifiers or connection records held by us, if any.

5. Processing Time

We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within 7 business days and complete deletion or anonymization within 30 days, unless a longer period is required to verify identity, complete an active transfer, resolve a dispute, or meet legal/accounting obligations.

6. Data We May Need to Keep

Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, safety, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons. Where full deletion is not possible, we will limit access and anonymize non-essential personal details where practical.
